TRIZ News

Technical Innovation Center has recently completed a 2 day Introductory Workshop for Mr. Stephen Cremer, Regional Director of FIRST, on a pro bono basis. Mr. Cremer's active participation in the Workshop confirmed his belief that TRIZ is a valuable tool for the 1,500+ teams that make up FIRST in the US and Canada. These students and mentors need to develop their own mechanical systems to compete in the annual competitions that are held around the country each year. A basic knowledge of TRIZ will be a great advantage to the teams when they need to overcome many of the design and process problems in building their systems.

FIRST is one of the primary sponsorship projects of the Altshuller Institute. By partnering with FIRST to deliver TRIZ books to the teams, AI hopes to quickly reach out to thousands of kids and adults. In order to accomplish this goal, AI needs the financial support of businesses and individuals to provide funding to buy and distribute these books to the FIRST Teams for FREE.
