Outreach Program: FIRST
AI has been donating sets of books ("And Suddenly the Inventor Appeared" and "40 Principles: Extended Edition") to teams competing in the First Lego League. FIRST was founded in 1989 to inspire young people's interest and participation in science and technology. Based in Manchester, NH, the 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit public charity designs accessible, innovative programs that motivate young people to pursue education and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math, while building self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills.
With over 1,500 teams in the US and Canada, over 30,000 students and mentors, we have a lot of opportunity to spread TRIZ knowledge to our next generation engineers and innovators. We encourage you to support this effort by making a tax deductible contribution to our Books for FIRST Fund. Each $50 donation will help one team and reach out to 15-25+ team members.
