This course covers all the basics of TRIZ including Patterns of Invention, Ideal Final Result (IFR), identification and use of resources, contradiction resolution, inventive and separation principles, use of TRIZ in “reverse” for failure analysis and prediction, use of TRIZ in business and organizational problem solving, using TRIZ lines of evolution for strategic planning and new product development, and how to integrate TRIZ with other innovation processes such as Six Sigma, DFSS, QFD, Six Hats, and brainstorming. Course includes all course notes, take home workbook, and a copy of “The Ideal Result: What It Is and How to Achieve It” (Springer, 2012), by the course instructor, Jack Hipple
