This robust virtual workshop will give participants an excellent grasp of TRIZ methodology and prepare them for the Associate Certification exam (optional) from the Altshuller Institute.

Topics for discussion and review will include Problem identification, Functional Modeling and Analysis, Evolution of Systems, Contradictions, and the methods to resolve them, 40 Principles, Multi-Pane Windows, Product Development, and Ideality. 

These intense mini-workshops have been redesigned with shorter sessions and include topical exercises to ensure comprehension. They will also prepare participants to pass the Associate level certification test administered following the Workshop. Most TRIZ workshops are taught in 3–5-day data dumps. Trying to learn a comprehensive toolset in a brief period with a large, diverse group, is not how most participants effectively internalize new material. TIC wishes to teach you problem-solving and innovative techniques to enhance your capacities to perform at a higher level and become a more valuable contributor to your team and employer. Sessions are flexible and can be individually scheduled for the mutual convenience of the participant and the instructor.

An extended training approach gives attendees more time to assimilate new knowledge and work on exercises between sessions to reinforce learning. Each training session is about 3 hours, followed by exercises to support the lesson. There are over 30+ hours of training and exercises to cover the material and assignments.
